Captain Robert “Robbie” on the vessel Odyssey is a very nice laid back captan that knows his boat, where to find fish and how to treat people.  This was a family outin with my daughter, grandson, my son and his bride. We met at the dock, gassed up and headed out on time.  The boat is a custom boat set up for charter, single diesel cummings a bit rough around the edges but like the mellinnum falcon she has it where it counts. Ssteady power, large ice boxes, high flow live well,great gear k(Star rods with Avet reels and some pen spin gearn) and most importantly very well stocked with up o date safty equipment including life jackets each with individual EPIRBs.  We caught ample live bait with Capt. Throwing pancakes wit the net and wer off to the fishing grounds.  We slow trolled and caught Kings a bonita then finished the day bottom fishing.  Everyone on the boat caught fish and we had a great time. Captain Robbie went above and beyond, listening and delivering showng knowledge of the area kindness and determination.  He was generous with the fishin tim and never seemd rushed to get back to port exactly as chartered. I’m sure he could of if it was asked but we enjoyed the trip and will be back. If you ant to fish the Cocoa beach area and aren’t sure when to go for fishing contact him with your targeted species and he’ll tell tou when to come or tell you what’s biting now.

Started of rough hard time catching bait but we did then offshore we went couldn’t troll due to sea weed everywhere broke up went to bottom fishing caught tons of red snapper among other lost a fishing to a big ass shark was cool to watch and then he kept us moving all day to other spots every spot he took us to we atheist got 2 bites and it kept going like that all day hit a couple ajs it was a great trip me and my group truly enjoy ourself and the day thanks to this charter we heard on radio other captains weren’t hooking upfish but we had no problem

king fish were a bit small but legal lots of red snappers but out of season through backs other wise the sea was beautiful and but very little fish maybe next time

Captain Rob did an excellent job finding fish on a below average day for other boats. We caught a blackfin tuna, several mackerel, and cobia.

Captain Robert was able to find the bait fish quickly (when other boats struggled) and had us on top of fish/structure the entire trip.  He knows the area like the back of his hand.  We moved around a bit when conditions changed (grass invasion, wrong type of fish, tides, wind).  We would definitely fish with Robbie again.  You know a good captain when you ask….what do you do with your free time and the reply is simple:  “I love to fish.”
