We headed out at 8am .slight breeze and calm seas.hit the reef .the first spot wasn't producing. Well .so we moved about a mile and bam .the refs were on along with spades and Covina.going to be a great summer.

Was a very windy day my group was scheduled for a reef trip .but the weather did not .agree with us .so we decided to do a inshore trip .it took a little bit to get the guys used to fishing .for reds and trout with the wind was a challenge.so as the tide slows to dead low we ducked into a back water where I new there was a nice peace of structure.didn't take long before I had the guys catching. Black drum and redfish .had a great day .

Maa 7, 2017 Folly Beach
Left the dock at 7am ,a little chill in the air but it warmed up fast .with a slight breez we decided to go back behind a few islands looking for some schooling Reds didn't take long before we found them . we were throwing live minnows Doa shrimp and white and chartreuse paddle tails both were working landing a lot of puppy drum .as the tide picked up the bite slowed so we hit a few points throwing Mirror lures and jerk shad on a 1/4 lead head . did' not take long before we were boating nice trout a few keepers but most just under..all in all a good morning . its shaping up to be a great spring..

The reds are schooled up in the flats and the bite is strong .we are starting to see alot of bait moving in , and the trout are hungry around the inlets in the fast water. Early bite with artificials z man getting the job done .
