We have fished with Sunrise Charters for several years on 5 different charters, so they are obviously doing something right.  By that, I mean we always catch fish and have a great time.  I would highly recommend Sunrise for new or experienced fisherman.  They won’t let you down.

We had a great morning out on the water with Lazaro and Mike. Quick steam out to Taboga Island and had lines in the water within 30 mins of leaving the dock. It was a slow day but not for a lack of trying! The March waters are relatively cooler than the summer. I booked this trip with two buddies and we were all able to hook up and put a fish on the deck. 2 Spanish mackerel and 1 Barracuda. Great charter, just be mindful of the time of year. CPT Azarro and Mike were great people.  My wife and I enjoyed everything about our trip.  We caught several big Mackerels and they even toured us around and showed off Panamá.  I will book with them again in the future.

We had a great day of fishing with Capt Lazaro and first mate Mike. We left promptly at 7 am and returned at 3:00 pm for our 8 hour fishing trip. We caught 5 different types of fish and the crew was very attentive to make sure we hauled in our catch. Overall, great day of fishing.

We felt for the price it was not worth it. We only caught 2 different types of fish from a long list of potentials. Crew didn’t have correct fishing equipment or live bait, they circled one area for multiple hours, they changed the leaving time from 8am to 12pm at last minute. We felt the crew did not put in enough effort to really make the price worth it. They were friendly but we felt they were just making it easier for themselves
