Big thanks to Ludovic! It was unforgettable trip! The weather was hard but captain do everything to catch the fish! Very interesting trip! Highly recommend!!!

This is a well run operation. Ludovic goes the extra mile and even picked me up from my hotel the morning of my fishing trip. On our trip we didn’t catch many fish but it was for me a really enjoyable trip. I will definitely be booking with Ludovic again when I go back to Mauritius for a holiday with my family. Thanks again to Ludovic for a wonderful day at sea with the kayaks

Our 1st day fishing, we headed south and put our monster lures specifically for Marlins as we were in the peak season for these species. We ended finally the day with what we wanted, a Blue Marlin of 350 pounds, caught by both anglers Iain and Steeve.

Second day fishing, we tried to please Lucy, as she wanted to catch some Tunas. But no tuna L. We ended the day with 4 skipjacks. Biggest was 17.6 pounds.

Third day, we have been to the north side of the island, where we caught one wahoo of 21lbs and one bonito mackerel on trolling. We tried also a bit of bottom fishing, where we got a ruby snapper and an emperor red snapper.

Fifth day fishing, early morning around 8:30, one blue marlin on line for 45mins on a 80lbs line test, leader in hand, and…. Snapped……… minute of silence…. Couldn’t help it, the bill cut the line.

Estimated weight: 130lbs.

15:00, another blue marlin strike! 45mins fight, leader in hand, seven incredible majestic jumps, rushed everybody onboard, some loud shouts, ripped the gaff out of hands of mate, ripped leader out of hands of captain, finally hooked got out… gone….. estimated weight: 175lbs. Back home empty handed again..

Sixth day fishing, Four missed bites in the morning, didn’t see what it was, could be marlin or tuna.. On the way back, while bringing back the lines, got a 63lbs wahoo.

Seventh day fishing, Been to Northside, near flat island, got Steeve’s wanted fish, a Barracuda of 12.5 lbs.

Friday, 24 Jan

Down to south side again for the big bites, and the big bite came, but finally hooked off after 2mins fight. Back home empty handed.
