Capt Scott took myself and my oldest two out Salmon fishing for king/pink salmon on 3 hr trip.  He was prompt in responding to questions during booking and helped us find some amazing lodging for our stay.  Once at the boat he quickly got us to the spot and maximized our time out.  He was knowledgable of the area, answering my kids many questions and helping them once a fish was one to ensure they landed the fish.  We caught around 13 fish in a little over 2 hours on station and kept seven including two kings with one over 30 lbs.  One thing I though came through was how much Capt Scott loves to catch salmon.  I don’t know who was more excited when we got our big king, he or I.  I plan on coming back and the only captain I am calling is Capt Scott.

We had an incredible time fishing. The captain was excellent and put us onto some great fish and was very knowledgeable about the area and the different fish we caught. He gave us options to see whales if we wanted as we went out which was a nice touch. The captain was hustling the entire time to make sure we were fishing at all times and moved us around to keep the bite coming in. We brought the whole family and caught a bunch of fish in just 4 hours.

Highly would recommend this if you are on a cruise ship because he picks you up right at the dock. Couldn’t be any easier to find the boat and get to business! We will 100% be back.

We were doing an Alaskan cruise ship on the encore and wanted to go Halibut fishing. Captain Scott was AMAZING in his hospitality, instructions on how to fish, as well as how efficient everything was.

He provided snacks and drinks for us, made sure we got out to the fishing spot quickly so we would have more time to fish, and also explained everything perfectly from how to fish as well as cool little facts and some history about Alaska’s fisheries. The boat was also extremely clean and looked nice and fancy haha.

We also landed a giant 37in halibut and Captain Scott also took us to see some Harbor Seals and Bald Eagles at the end of our trip! 10/10 would recommend to anybody wanting to go halibut or salmon fishing in Ketchikan!!!

Our captain Colby was great at responding to our texts and last minute needs as arriving in Ketchikan by cruise ship was totally out of our control. He made sure we were back in plenty of time for the all aboard. We had an excellent time, loved getting to see the scenery, whales and catching a few fish. We definitely will call on Colby for our next fishing trip to Alaska.

We have a wonderful trip out with Colby and Isa. It was my husband and I with our 3 kids under 13. We have some experience fishing but Colby and Isa were so patient and helpful with our 7 & 9 year old and made sure the experience was top notch for them.  Colby set us up in the honey hole and we didn’t have to move to catch a mess of salmon to send home!  The biggest fish out there broke my line so no proof, maybe we will catch him next time! 😉😂. This fishing 🎣 day has been a highlight of the trip for sure!  Thanks for a great day!
