We recently had the pleasure of heading out on an offshore fishing trip with Captain Galon in the Florida Keys, and let me tell you — it was everything we hoped for and more. We talked about this trip for a long time, and it did not disappoint.
From the moment we stepped on the boat, Captain Galon’s professionalism, local knowledge, and easygoing nature set the tone for an unforgettable day on the water. This was our first offshore fishing trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to deep sea fishing.
We spent the day trolling and sight fishing, and the action didn’t stop. Landing Mahi Mahi was the highlight — not just for the excitement of the catch, but also because of how beautiful and fast these fish are. Watching them chase the flying fish and hitting the lines and then seeing them break the surface of the water was a thrill we won’t forget. Captain Galon’s instincts and expertise were on full display.
The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, and the whole day was action-packed and productive. Whether it was working the lines, finding the fish, or sharing life stories, Captain Galon was a top-notch guide and a truly skilled fisherman.

my husband and I are in our mid 60s and had the most amazing experience with Captain Galen. The location was easy to find. He was so kind and patient with us.
We had been deep sea fishing before, but this time we tried ref fishing and caught a ton of fish, edible and some good sport fish. When we got back to the dock captain took pictures of us with our catch and then filets and bagged the on the ice and we were able to take to a local restaurant for lunch.  p.s. don’t bring bananas on the boat.

Hit our blackfin limit and moved on to Mahi. None of us on the boat have ever had the experience of having three Mahi on lines simultaneously while also seeing more for the taking in the water.

This captain puts in the work, and is a quality guy, we will be coming back, although it would be hard to top the day we just had!

We cannot express how pleased we were with our outing! The day we went it was tough fishing and Galon worked hard to put us on some fish and it paid off. My wife and I had a blast reeling in fish after fish! Galon was by and far the best fishing guide we’ve ever had. He was experienced, knowledgeable, and very passionate about his work. From boarding the boat to cleaning the fish there’s not one thing we would change about our trip!

BEST Charter we’ve ever had in the Keys! Capt Galon said he’d put us on fish and he did not disappoint. 
We had an excellent 8hr day, catching a variety of 6 species and 12 keepers and action throughout the day. Captain knew the spots and regulations and when things slowed down, he changed it up and kept us on action trying different techniques, spots, and baits. He had an awesome sense of humor and an unbeatable attitude - incredibly encouraging, patient, and only wanted us to enjoy ourselves.
We cannot speak highly enough of him and his willingness to answer questions, coach us, and land some awesome fish on what those on the docks called a hard day. So glad we booked this charter and will definitely be repeat customers.
