We booked a three hour fishing trip with Manuel and first mate Luis. Communication regarding weather was excellent.  Our day out was perfect! We caught 5 fish including 2 baracuda. They had 5 lines in to maximize the chances of catching fish.  They had a cooler of cold drinks available. Manny answered all our questions and was very personable! One of the highlights of our time in Akumal! Would highly recommend booking a trip with Manny!

Fantastic trip.  8 hours, first mate and captain didn’t quit trying to get us on fish until the last second.  5/5, no complaints whatsoever.  I’ve been on several guides in the states and these two work together better than any captain - mate tandem I’ve seen. My wife doesn’t exactly have her sea legs and got sick mid day.  Luis took us to a Cenote located in a lagoon and took a break, got her right for the rest of the rest of the afternoon.  Their knowledge of the area saved... What a great day — Manuel was nice enough to pick us up from our hotel, he spoke well and made us feel at ease. Once on the boat, Luis and Fransisco were amazing and full of knowledge. We caught a 3ft barracuda and a 4.5ft Wahoo. Luis then proceeded to filet the fish for us, and Manuel had plenty of wonderful recommendations on restaurants that would cook it for us. Captain Luis and his first mate worked hard and did a great job! We fished for two hours, got three bites and my son landed two barracudas. My son enjoyed his chat with Luis about fishing.  We then went swimming with turtles. Luis took the four of us on a tour, pointed out lots of fish and coral, then we got to see the turtles up close. Luis filleted one fish for us and we let him keep the other. A great day with lots of great memories! Thank you so much!

We had reserved a day of fishing, four hours, and on suggestion from Manny we changed our day to one day earlier due to weather. This was a good recommendation as the weather on our scheduled day was very rough! Anyway, we were picked up on the beach and out we went. Our fishing adventure started off trolling at first where we hooked and landed a Barracuda! It was then decided to bottom fish in the middle part of our trip and this was very successful.
