Even before the trip started, the captain tried to make me pay him 4000, when I was only supposed to pay 2900. I had already paid a deposit, he said he knew that I paid the deposit, but that I had to pay 4000 anyway. I said no like three times, then he took me to their office and I showed my receipt and they asked me for 2900. I asked why the captain asked for 4000,  but didn’t get an answer.

The trip was supposed to last for 3 hours, but we were “fishing” for less than 2 hours. The fishing equipment was old and we weren’t even close to catch a fish. “Soft drinks included” was 4 bottles of sprite. There were also 4 cans of beer, but those belonged to the captain, and he drank all of them while out on the sea.

We had a good and fun day, but that was only because we were four good friends doing the trip together. I would not recommend this trip. Not at all professional, poor gear and I would be very surprised if we caught a fish.

I hate when people try to take advantage of tourists and trick them to pay extra.

The two guys (Jesus and Antonio) that were in charge of the boat showed up 20 minutes late and brought us in 1/2 hour early. No catches but good effort for sure. No captains chairs so our butts were hurting. They weren’t very conversational and the drinks were warm. We also didn’t know we were supposed to pay the balance in cash so we had to use the ATM at the resort and had almost $30 in fees. Find someone else.

Water was rough…crew did what they could to get us a few fish. Gracias Migos
