We were thoroughly pleased with our trip.  Captain Josh was so helpful leading up to our charter with clear communication, instructions, expectations, great details.  The Early Riser boat is spacious and comfortable. We found several great fishing spots and had a great time.  I’ve been with other charters, this was the best!

We had a great trip thanks to our Captain Jordan and his crew Sienna. The boat we were on was the perfect and size and thanks to their expertise we were able to have a great time and got some great fish! Highly recommend and will always come back to them for any future trips up here!

We were cancelled for high winds 2 days prior but we rebooked for salmon and rockfish since Wednesdays you can’t keep halibut. It turned out to be the best blessing in disguise! The weather was perfect and we caught our limit of king salmon (and BIG ones) within an hour and limited out on rockfish for the boat. Awesome fishing trip. All five of us caught our limits and more. Josh was awesome and even in “Chummy” waters he was accommodating and able to take us to calmers waters to continue catching fish. If you wanna fish we highly recommend! Thanks Josh for a fantastic Trip!

Totally amazing experience! I’m an AK resident, hosting my two elderly parents going on their first fishing charter. Captain Josh was excellent and really made sure everyone had a great experience. I would say definitely book with Big Butts. 10/10. I wouldn’t use Fishingbooker though- it makes communication more difficult going through an app and no doubt the fishing guys lose a cut. Just call the charter directly.
