As a young boy, he had a dream of fishing professionally. After many years of fishing in tournaments he succeeded in qualifying for the 2006 Bassmaster Classic and spent the next few years fishing nationally as an Elite Series fisherman. This was a milestone achievement he would always remember. Spending so much time on the Louisiana local waters, he's become an expert on them. Mark, Brannigan and Frank the tank had a blast catching today. We left out at 520am to beat some heat. Caught 11 nice fish 30 minutes out and continued to box at every stop. Finished up with 40 trout and had a great time.

Breezy tuesday

Set out with the Moriarity team today to chase trout. It was a little bumpy in Lake Borgne but the breeze kept us breathing. Its hottt right now but the fish cooperated and we boxed some nice trout. And sharks. The bull sharks seem to be everwhere but they are fun to fight.

Big specs and sheephead

We left out of slidell dock and ran about 40 minutes. 3 hours later the rain was creeping in on us. We were catching some really nice specs and sheephead. What a great day. 45 specs 6 sheephead and a couple reds. Mrs Janet and charles had a ball.

Went out on 5-28 to chase reds in venice. What a day this was. These guys caught and released several with one being 43 lbs. what a fish

Capt. James was extremely accommodating for someone who has never fished in the area before. My wife, daughter and me took the 7 hour trip. He told us what time of day the fish would start biting and he knew when to move from spot to spot to keep catching fish. He not only told us where to throw but how to use the rod to our advantage so we got the maximum number of fish. He also made sure we got plenty of pictures to remember our time together. What a great day with the monk family. We left out early into Lake P and started catching a few early. As the day progressed it got better. School teacher Rene really got it going but lets not forget about Jay as the fish bite was good. What a nice box of fish. Thanks you all for being patient. See yall soon

I surprised my husband with a birthday gift of fishing for a day. Captain James did not disappoint. He knew the right spots to take us from beginning to end. Despite the tide. wind issues and motion sickness we had a great time. Captain James taught me how to fish, I did pretty good for the first time, so dod my husband. Enjoyed the experience and look forward to the next one.

Great day with the fords. We left out and worked the bridges in some pretty high winds. They caught 4 different species and all in all had a good day despite our conditions. Thank yall so much for the trip. Hope to see yall soon.

Thanks Capt. James at Right Side Charters for giving us every opportunity to catch them fishies in 100+ heat! Thank God for the pretty consistent breeze and the few specks and white trout that allowed themselves to be caught!!! And I even learned how to catch a trout on a lure although I am still partial to live bait!! Thanks to the Lamz for a great day. We started out at daybreak with 15-20 mph west wind. Headed to Lake Borgne and started off catching a few small white trout. Moved around a few times to try to box some speckled trout. The keepers were slow but we managed to put 20 trout on ice. In this heat and west wind a pretty good day.

Capt Fred was a top notch guide. From booking trip until heading home was one of my most enjoyable guided trips. Capt James contacted me quick and was helpful throughout the trip. Was my 1st time fishing Lake Pontchartrain and wouldn’t consider fishing with anyone else. Price was very reasonable and Fred & James knowledge of area gave me a memorable trip & an ice chest full of fish to bring home. Capt James and capt Fred rolled out together this morning and chased specs. We moved into one area and the specs started hitting the floor of the Skeeter 240’s. We only moved twice to stay on them. What a great day for Mrs Carol. She put on a clinic

A bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work, which is why I love to go fishing even though I hardly ever catch anything. A GREAT day of fishing is what Captain James provided for us. I haven’t caught 34 fish in the last 10 years combined, but Captain James put us on a great spot. Not only 34 Trout, but I got a Bull Red, nice Sheepshead and a shark. Best day of fishing in a LONG time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CAPTAIN JAMES!!!

Again Happy Birthday Rick. We stopped out on the edge of Lake Borgne and started catching nice specks right away. The water temps only gave us about 3 hours but we made the best of it. Great day. Thanks Rick and Brodi. And thanks Amanda for setting them up.
