Spent 2 half days with Ricardo and Carlos on the IDRA. Great team that really knows what they are doing. First day fish were bitting but my son wasn’t feeling very good ! Carlos spotted dolphins and had them run and play with the boat ! So close with were able to touch them ! They saved the day for my family. 2nd day heavy rain all night made the water ugly and conditions tough, we still managed a very respectable day because of their experience. Amazing crew, amazing experience, if your looking for light tackle experience, IDRA is your crew !

We had a great time with Captain Ricardo and Carlos. We booked two full day trips with them as our main goal in Costa Rica was to catch a rooster fish. Our first day out we had a lot of hook ups on possible rooster fish and we landed a nice one and a very large surprise snook. After that we changed spots and caught a variety of species jack crevalle, big eye jack, cubera snappers, rainbow runners and blue runners. We caught multiple “fish of a lifetime” on this trip and the action was nonstop it was one of the best days of fishing we ever had. Our second day we targeted roosters in the morning again and ended up with 4 on the boat and even more hook ups and a nice jack crevalle. Once we both had the rooster fish we were looking for (and even a double rooster!) we went in search of more snappers where we had lots of hook ups and got two nice ones in the boat. It was such a great time and I would highly recommend fishing with Captain Ricardo and Carlos, they are fish whisperers and are great at what they do. If you are looking for action you definitely want to fish with these guys, it’s non stop season! Can’t wait to come back and try for a triple tail!

Went out searching for roosters, caught a triple tail fishing around the same spots as the other charters. Then we went to a spot seperate from all the charters and started slamming roosters. If we had booked longer we probably would have caught more. Great time.

Came from NC to catch a rooster fish. Ricardo and Carlos exceeded expectations and were passionate about making sure we caught fish! They were very courteous and knowledgeable and we have an enjoyable morning on the water. Highly recommend!

Ricardo had us on Roosters on the first cast and later we targeted and caught a few other species.  Great Captain and crew; water, drinks, and snacks provided along with a lifetime of memories.  Highly recommend and hope to come back again someday.
