I appreciate your comments on my Charter. What you must understand is the Captain must fish in order to keep everyone vertical. When the Captain is not fishing, no one else can fish as they won’t be vertical. This is why I perform training at the beginning of the trip. I always took time to the customers needs when they needed me to tie up new baits. We also had the treat of severe storms moving in so getting off the water early was a blessing. I did not raise my rates like other charters so as to share in the pain of much higher fuel prices with my customers. Everyone on your trip seemed to be having a great time. If I could automate the boat to stay vertical without fishing I certainly would. It would be so much easier for me and I could focus more on everyone’s needs. One time my 4 customers limited out on walleye and I never felt a fish that day. We all have our days. If you book another Charter please pay attention to how they clean your fish. I spend the time to clean them to perfection. My customers needs are all that matter. Captain Mike

It was a nasty weather day. Supposed to have been one foot or less but instead we had up to 6 footers from the north. Broke a $700 probe and weight off trying to get fish. Plus I gave the boy my heated vest to keep him warm. I felt bad for the guys getting sick off the side of the boat. That’s why I bought everyone dinner upon our return. I don’t think we deserved the lower score but will consider ways to prevent it in the future. Believe me we want fish more than you do.
