- Background
- Fishing has always been my passion and since I was a small boy during the summer I could always be found on the shoreline with a pole in my hand. Over the years, fishing has become more than just a passion for me. It's a way of life. I have fished all over the world from the coast of Africa and South America to our local waters here in the United States. I have always found fishing to be both challenging, rewarding, and a great relaxation. I have gathered a tremendous amount of knowledge over the years and still to this day. Now I can typically be found off Montauk Point teaching others and keeping the rods bent.
- Techniques
- I have many styles and techniques of fishing depending on the species. Trolling, Jigging, live bait, drifting and bottom fishing are some of the most popular. Offshore for tuna and Billfish I usually troll with outriggers and a 9 to 11 rod trolling pattern using both artificial and hand rigged baits.
