This was one of my best fishing experiences, Hanna takes fishing to a new level, hunting fish!  We were inexperienced at free diving spear fishing.  She picked us up, instructed us, rigged us out and we were in the water in no time. Once in the water we had some target practice for bait to bring in the big fish.  Then the hunt was on, strategy, technique and everything else you can possibly think of goes into this type of fishing. We got hooked (pun intended) on spear fishing. We were very discriminate in making the hunt as much about conservation as meat.  If you love trophy fishing, hunting on land, and fishing in rivers and streams in technical water this is definitely for you. There are a couple of things I would practice before taking this trip and that is pressure equalization, find a 10 meter deep pool and if possible practice before going.  If you live being in the ocean, like a physical and mental challenge you will not be disappointed.  The best part is if you get tired all you have to do is chill out and snorkel. We saw all forms of fish and sea turtles, took out some lion fish to help support a health reef.  Hanna takes super great care of you, she is patient and very instructive on how to do this right while having a good time.  At the end of the day you get some ginger tea and a great mini tour of the island.

Hana was so chill and relaxed.  She is a wealth of knowledge and willingness to teach and support.  She eased us into spearfishing with shallow dives and worked us up to deep dives.  My wife doesn’t spearfish, but wanted to snorkel and Hana was fantastic with her.  Hana was prompt picking us up and dropping us off at the cruise port. I would highly recommend diving with her.

We had an awesome time learning to spearfish with Hanna. She picked us up at our hotel right at noon and gave us a tour of the island as we drove out to the beach. This being our first time spearfishing she taught us how to operate the spear guns as well as the different types of fish we would see. All the equipment she brought was in great condition. On our dive we saw everything from sea turtles to sting rays to lionfish. We even got a couple lionfish and some lobsters. Overall a great time!
