Went out to do some rod pulling for a few hours in the afternoon. Got plenty for the grill and a lot more for sushi rolls.

Successful day fishing the wrecks

Had the livewell full of pilchards and cigar minnows and headed straight to drifting the deeper reef. Caught plenty of mahi on the live bait which made for some good jumps and even better dinner. Then ended the day catching snappers. Great group of guys made for some laughs and good times!

Great offshore bite

Fun 6 hour catching some live bait then heading to drift some wrecks. Plenty of action catching some small mutton snappers and other bottom species. Then the tunas showed up and they were big caught them up to 25 pounds. Make for fun fishing on light tackle with live bait!

Fun 6 hour with plenty of action

Started the day with caching yellowtail, jacks, and ballyhoo. After we caught a few for dinner we headed to deeper water. We caught a nice mutton snapper off the bottom, and shortly after caught two large blackfin tuna off the light tackle surface rods making for good fights. Finally wrapped up the day with a kingfish. Always fun to put people on quality fish!

Our wishes were to go offshore to fish for dolphin (mahi). When he arrived, I saw no outriggers. He had no intentions of going offshore. It was a beautiful day. His opinion was his chances of catching them was low. That should have been my decision. We had a fun day and fished for mutton snapper. We caught 3 fish. We hooked more but didn’t land them. Some was because of our inexperience some was due to faulty equipment. His fortay, was catching snapper. He is young and has room to learn more.... Meer

Hey Dave! Thanks for the review. I sincerely apologize that you all did not enjoy the trip. However, at no point during the trip did you clearly state what fish you wanted to target. Additionally, comparing our trip to one other captain’s trip is not a clear indicator of overall fishing conditions.

Sorry the fish were not biting that well Paula. I tried over 8 different areas and multiple different techniques to catch you guys fish. I even gave you guys extra time. I try extremely hard to make sure everyone of my clients enjoys their outing. That includes spending the time after work making sure the boat is in pristine condition. The over 300 5 star reviews shows this. I hope your guys next fishing trip is more action packed.
