We took a 5-hr morning trip with Capt Matt and had a blast. Didn’t catch any fish but didn’t stop us from having a good time. Matt was really fun to talk to and had lots of good stories. It’s just been a down year for fishing the North Shore altogether and Matt did everything in his power to put us on some Ono, but we can force the fish to bite. Still a 10/10 trip and absolutely will be booking with Lucky Lass again the next time we’re in Hawaii!

Was my first ever fishing charter and first time fishing in salt water. Matt was super awesome. Told me everything I needed to know and answered any questions I had. Started with catching a bunch of bait fish, which was fun in itself. And then Ended up catching an awesome mahi mahi. I will definitely be booking again if I come back, and I would suggest anyone else to book this!!!

Captain Matt & his son Gio were great! We told him we wanted to catch Mahi Mahi, and even though it’s not the right time of year, he put us on them. We didn’t catch a ton, but we were able to catch exactly what we wanted. It was a fun trip! Just a heads up for anyone that gets motion sickness: the waves in the North Shore are no joke!! Take some Dramamine or use sea sick patches.
