Beautiful day on the sound!  Sunny, light breeze and calm water.  We caught a sting Ray, some blues and a couple of smaller fish.  Not the busiest fishing day ever, but Capt. Matt is always fun and easy to talk to, and does a great job keeping everyone involved.  We’ll be back again next year.  Thanks for another great trip!

Recently went fishing on the topaz with my son, his friend, another father and his young daughter. The captain didn’t disappoint. We were on fish as soon as we got out to our spot. It was one of the better experiences I’ve had fishing out of the Outer Banks in quite a while would definitely go fishing with them again the first mate was also awesome.

Myself, my kiddos my hubby and my FIL had a great time on this trip. We caught lots of fish, the mate was relatable and conversative and .very helpful. Blues, albacore and mackerel caught by all.

Being a fellow blue water boater, I like a high quality sport fisher, and the Salt Grit did a fine job. The skipper knew where to go and we caught our first fish in minutes after we started trolling. We finally called it quits ahead of our allotted time because we had enough fish for several evenings of fish. Great trip, would recommend highly!
