Cabo Sportfishing Crew was fantastic. Easy to setup trip, fantastic lunch amd all bait/license imcluded. They were such a fun team, entertaining, and humorous crew with a lot of skill and experince. Angel understood and spoke English well and let us decide what type of fish we could go out after. He explained how to uae equipment whem fish was on and how he made the live bait lines. Quick to get boat out of dock and Angel immediately started setting up poles. Liked having 5-6 lines out at once to increase odds for our father daughter fishing trip. I felt the cost well reasonable and well worth the trip. We were able to hook and get 2 Blue Marlin into boat by 830am😃 This crew helped fill a 75yr old father’s dream of first time deep sea sport fishing with big catch!! My husband and I had a fishing trip of a lifetime and we have done many throughout our travels.  The crew of Gerry and Juan worked hard finding a variety of fish and pointing out the old surrounding wildlife.  During our trip we caught four Bonitas, one mahi mahi, and four large marlin!!  We also saw many whales, dolphins, sea lions and sharks.  They kept the boat extremely clean and had a wide variety of beverages and a burrito lunch.  At the end of the trip, they made sure the fish we wanted to clean were prepared and sent us on our way with our fresh catch on ice.  I’d highly recommend taking this full day guided fishing trip

scheduled transportation was on time and very nice with helpful professional driver.  Upon arrival at the dock we were met and escorted to the boat.  captain and mate were very welcoming.  they explained what we were going to do and asked a few questions.  We were on our way quickly.  during the trip the crew was helpful and very attentive.  we did not have great luck in catching alot of fish but it was not for lack of effort by the crew.  we went close to shore and caught some fish that was very fun. Lunch and drinks were provided as well as a clean restroom.  we were very happy with crew and had a fun afternoon.  highly recommend for a fun fishing trip.

We booked the Reel Tequila with Cabo Sport Fishing for my son’s 13th birthday, and it was nothing short of magical.

From the very beginning, communication was excellent. Before we even arrived, we knew exactly where to go and what to expect, and the team was already waiting for us when we showed up. We booked a full-day trip to give my son the best possible shot at his dream fish.

When we got on the boat, the crew asked my son what his dream was. Without hesitation, he said a dorado. They were honest and told us dorado and marlin had been tough lately, but promised they would do everything they could.

We set off into the most incredible sunrise and were invited to sit up top with the crew, which made the experience feel even more special. The boat was very well stocked with water, multiple sodas, beer, and they provided great lunches as well.

They took us far offshore to the point where you could not see another boat and the land was just a distant horizon. The moment we were in the water, it was nonstop action. These guys never sat down and never stopped working.

Within two hours, we hooked a trophy-size dorado. The crew was incredible with my son, teaching him how to properly use the equipment, guiding him without taking over, and showing so much patience. When that dorado hit the deck, life was very, very good.

Around that same time, three out of the five people in our group were taken down hard by seasickness. The crew handled it with total kindness and humor, laughing with them through the misery and never once making anyone feel bad for being sick in choppy water.

About an hour later, we hooked an even bigger dorado, and that was it. My son’s dream day was complete.

We were scheduled to fish until 2:00 PM, but with the seasick family members, we decided to head back early around 11:00. The team helped us get our fish over to Gricelda’s for processing (also highly recommend!)
and made the wrap-up seamless.

We went fishing with another outfit two days later and spent eight hours on what felt like a sightseeing tour. We only saw the captain and first mate twice the entire day. It was painful and made us appreciate this trip even more.

I will never go fishing with anyone other than Cabo Sport Fishing again. Thank you for giving my son a truly unforgettable 13th birthday

We booked this trip with the anticipation of catching something to eat while we were in Cabo.  Turns out we now have enough for most of the year.

We caught a stripped marlin and a gigantic blue marlin.  They told me it was a once in a lifetime catch as it was well over 300 lbs. 

A little disappointed that we did not get other type of fish like dorado, but that blue marlin kept us busy for at least 3 hours.

The captain and his crew were the best.  They definitely know what they are doing and made sure we did not lose our catch with a bunch of rookies on the boat.  Unfortunately the blue marlin died while we were fighting it, but we put all the meat to good use. 

The captain and his team were very knowledgeable and good about what to do and not do when we got to the marina with regards to our catch.  Because of the size of the catch we attracted a lot of attention and he hooked us up with a great processor that got our fish back home to Texas safely and completely vacuum packed and frozen.  We brought home close to 100 lbs.

Needless to say everyone, including the captain, were disappointed that we did not decide to mount it.  But we got lots of great pictures and the experience was amazing. 

Super clean boat, great on board meal and snack.  We are thinking of booking them again when we go back.
