Went out for an afternoon a couple days ago in search of Black fin tunas but the water color wasnt the quality we were looking for so we switched gears. With about a knot of north current I checked some of my deeper wrecks and I marked a good pile of snapper on a couple of them. But it only took one spot to catch our limit and we sent the customers home with a good pile of some delicious snapper. Tight lines, Captain Taylor.

The weather was beautiful, pretty blue water and flat calm seas and plenty of fish biting. Started out trolling catching bonitas and blackfin tunas then caught a big barracuda then ended the trip with a 40 pound wahoo!

We started out trolling over some deep wrecks and 30 min in we had 3 nice blackfin tunas. Then we decided to drop some live baits on the wrecks because we had about a knot of north current, and right as the bait hit the bottom we hooked into a 30lb Amberjack. One more drop, one more Amberjack, then we had a fair amount of wind so we put the kites up for the last hour and a flat lined live bait and one bait on the bottom caught two nice mutton snappers on the bottom then a buzzer beater sail to finish the trip. Dinner and a show it doesnt get much better than that!
