Luis took my son and I out on a 4 hr trip and it was awesome.  We each had a chance to fight a roughly 40 lb Tarpon .  We were 1 for 2 on bringing them into the boat, but without Luis’s guidance I dont think we would have gotten any.  It is definitely a game of patience, but good things come those that wait.  Luis was a cool guy as well.  I would 100% charter another trip again.  If only we had a few more days in PR.  I hope you all enjoy your trips!  Go get you a big one!

Luis knows where to find good tarpon.  The bite was a little slow but we hooked up on a few tarpon.  We got two good sized fish to the boat.  Had a great day.  When you book with him make sure you ask about the day we lost his rod and reel.  Then got it back to the boat.  It’s a great story.

Capt Luis had a battle with some toxic food.  He could not fish and i thought for sure our day was over before it started.  NOPE.  He had capt Luke fill in and run his boat for us.  Capt Luke reminded me of capt Luis.  All he wanted was for us to catch fish and enjoy our day.  He did everything he could to give us a chance.  And then bam.  80 lber screeming drag and my 13 year old was on his fish of a lifetime.  Giant fish jumped 8 feet out of the water right next to the boat. ... Had a great outing with Luis for a 6 hour trip. I let him know I wanted to go after the big ones and he tailored the bait and tackle to ensure we got one to the boat. Had a few fish spit the hook or not dully take the bait, mostly due to my errors and them being smart fish that are tricky. But that didn’t really matter, as I got a really nice one to the boat after a hard fight.
