Plan for unpredictable weather. June in Carolina is a gamble. It’s usually hot, but you really really need to bring layers.

Carolina Beach is much more relaxed and family oriented. Easier to navigate, less crime/traffic. We love the area overall, not just for fishing.

The water was rough and cold, so not much moving around the beginning of April. I would recommend a warmer time of year!

This was our first time and Fishing Booker was very convenient and helpful. Carolina Beach is a great jump off location. We would definitely go through them again .

4 hour trips stay close to shore. Expect blues and potentially spanish mackerel. Weather can be a potential issue. We had a great trip. Many blues and a few spanish mackerel.
