What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Ocho Rios for the first time?

I hate to give 2 stars on the fishing based on one trip, but with not so much as a nibble, I don’t know how else to rate? I dont blame anyone - that’s fishing - no guarantees. The crew was friendly and engaged. They showed me pictures of the big fish other people caught in the past?

End of the summer season and the moon phase was not perfect. Water was pretty choppy if you tend to get queasy, would have been a tough day.

Don’t expect the world. It’s called fishing, not catching. Just go and enjoy yourself. Catching fish is a bonus!

In better conditions we would have had more success, but that’s why it’s called fishing and not catching!

Not a prime time for good fishing, but we enjoyed the adventure and this is good for first timers or inexperienced.

Better in the spring, but you can get lucky. Would be cool if after trolling he took you bottom fishing. I didn’t have allot of time left is maybe why we didn’t.

Yes, very close to the beach to catch desired pelagic species that are good for the family.

GREAT loved the captain, boat guys, everyone!!!!! We caught fish and the guys were awesome!

Prepare yourself to be disapointed if no fish. But crew tried hard changing bait throughout!
