What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Panama City Beach, Florida for the first time?

I specifically asked for targeting certain fish and the captain tried to accommodate. The wind was much stronger than forecasted making it harder, but it was really good activity.

This is a great crew and experience for first time and experienced! We had a great time with knowledgeable, experienced crew and great boat and equipment!

Be ready for weather? I’ve been twice in April, great weather both times, but it can be dicey this early in Spring

The weather is touch and go, we happened to go on a colder morning which wasn’t great for fishing, but a warmer April day could be much more successful

We had a blast! Captain Allan had a great plan and the 5 of us caught way more fish than our group of 18 could eat that night! The Spanish mackerel were fun to catch and delicious to eat!

March fishing = be flexible and trust your captain and crew. If you keep a positive attitude and remember it’s fishing, not catching…. You’ll have a trip to remember!!

Book a captains choice trip. Not a whole lot of species are in season to fish for, so it’s tough when you book a trip for a certain species and can’t really go after them because of timing.

Watch the weather!!Ask questions before and just be ready to enjoy. The guys in Reel Addiction 2 know what they are doing!!!

March isn’t the best fishing month, but it does make for a nice time on the water. If you’re a hardcore fisher, wait for the hot months.

Be sure to explain the fish you want to catch. If you specify the order of preference your day on the water will be much better.

We had a beautiful day on the water but the week leading up was windy and cold…we just lucked out!

A captain that’s flexible ensuring he’s able to put you on fish. Having this trip in March allowed us to not melt in the heat.

Pick the right guide, someone who fishes on a regular basis like Keith or risk going on a boat ride instead of a fishing trip

We were all first timers, just get in there and have fun and take Dramamine if you’re not used to ocean waves

It’s never the captains fault if you don’t catch fish he can’t tell them to bite so enjoy the experience!

This boat may not be the newest but it has an indoor area with air conditioning. Might be better with 4 people rather than 6.

Be prepared for as many fish you can handle. It was an experience of a lifetime for me and my family. Very grateful we chose captain Jim!

We have been here for multiple Octobers. October is definitely not the best fishing. This was partially why we decided to try shark fishing.

We didn’t care about keeping edible fish, but if you do, make you check the open season for what you want to catch/keep.

Book with Old Town Charters and ask for Captain Kieth Burch. Oh and bring a large cooler, because your going to need it for all the fish you catch.

Ask questions and just know that fishing is 50/50, the captain Can’t control the ocean or the first, but if you get double W captain Chris Wiwi he will do a lot to make every trip a great trip.

Weather can be unpredictable but the folks at Dauphins will work with the weather and with you to provide you with a wonderful trip!

Check seasons for the fish you wish to catch and keep. Even under tough conditions Our captain and mate put us on fish.

Book a trip and in joy the experience with family or friends. My family and I had a great time. Well worth the it.

Make sure you find an experienced Captain and Crew and at least a 40ft boat due to potentially rough waters

The best advice I’d give is to book with Reel Addiction 2, Capt. Jim and Bill his First Mate. They would be great with kids also. Very kind people.

I’d recommend being patient find a good guide like Justin and let him show you the ropes and he’ll get ya on some fish

Wear a light color long sleeve shirt. Bring plenty of drinks to stay hydrated and do everything with a smile.
