We started off on bait, and was slow so I starded trolling! Size and numbers increased so kept trolling !

2 person trip, old friends. Bait easy, lake full of it, reason its so tough! One out 10 boats doing good, and amazing in shallow water. So hot. I stick with bait and troll if need be, each caught one fish but good size! This wont get better until water temp (83) drops! Lake still stained some. One out 10 boats might do well, but i push on, as i love fishing but getting paid might influence me some too!

May 12, fishing ! The lake is d i r t y! Flood ing! Every day is different ! No boat launching and no electric! I am staying at another boat slip which has electric so I can clean fish and charge batteries! In co venient! 2 fish today! Really I know yiu didnt expect that from me, but oh fishing!

Since 1994, I have been a fishing guide on Lake Texoma! Always a fisherman, I use what works at the time and expects customers to use my methods which ever is working at the time’. I start at daylight, fish four hours maybe little longer if short limit, then return dock and clean fish while you relax. I filet the way that leave the best taste of the fish, in my opinion but if like it another way I will do that! I try my best to get every one limit, 10 fish each! Some days that do not bite, very unusual but it happens!
