The day started a little windy and rainy, but as soon it was going on got better was kinda slow for fishing the hot bite was in the afternoon but we manage to get 2 jacks a broom tail grouper 1 cubera snapper, and 2 other yellow tails snappers and a fortuna fish

? Fishing Report — Offshore Afternoon Session ? Technique: Trolling ? Location: Offshore – Costa Rica We went back to the water and it was enough to reach the point of action for the emotion to be unleashed: "fuuuaaa"! A single pique, but what a moment. As in every tournament, once the line is touched, it counts... and this Sailfish gave us a brief but intense battle that earned its place among the catches of the day. ? The billfish can be spotty (peak sailfish and marlin season is Jan-April) but there is plenty of opportunity for other fish, like tuna. A 3/4 or full day trip will give a better chance of catching fish given different species are found at different distances from shore.

If you dont know Spanish request a captain w good english. Otherwise it can be a long quiet day. Ask in advance how you need to pay-cash or card. tip in cash so make sure you have enough. not all boats have a toilet. Ask. ask if boat has live bait or if you need to catch it. saves time if boat already has bait. small boats dont have a lot of shade. bring lots of sunscreen and at least long sleeve shirts. 4 hr trip ok for younger kids. 6 hrs too long.
