We did a drive-by of the Marina the day before in our way to Manuel Antonio Beach. Really helped day of trip to find parking entrance.

Bring lots of cash to avoid big credit card fees. Look into 3/4 offshore trips as good value. Don't think you have to book a big sports fisherman for a good time. For two people are boat was just fine.
