I highly recomend fishing with these guys, i have fished with close to ten other deep sea fishing charters around the world and these guys are one of the best I’ve been with! They keep the fish biting all day and do whatever it takes to get them to bite.

Fin Chaser and crew are a fantastic choice for first time anglers in Cabo San Lucas. There are lots of options for boats and crews down here, but Fin Chaser will deliver a phenomenal experience for sure!

Bring cash for a tip for the deckhand/first mate (20-25%). $20 each for a fishing license unless provided. $1 each to get onto the dock. $30-60 for live bait. $50-$100 if you need your fish cleaned for you (or bring a fillet knife and some bags). Protect yourself from the sun.

Pacifictime Sports Fishing – Pacific Time Too
Recommend getting your fishing license online or before the trip so no time is wasted. We had a great Captain and first mate but more English and the ability to communicate easier would have helped a bit more. They worked hard to give us the ability to land a marlin so my son and I felt it was great.

The Pacific waters can sometimes be a bit rough. Be prepared.
I recommend on day before eat a light dinner with water and no alcohol. On fishing day, I don’t eat breakfast or coffee, just a little water. A few hours into the day my appetite is ready for a granola bar - if I have time to stop. Because the fishing can be exciting around Cabo.

Go in the morning. For Big Game fish, you may want to take full day charter and cut it early if fish arent biting.
Full day charter can take you further out. For family trips, read reviews from Families and go on half day trips vs. full day. Split the half day into close to shore smaller fish then deeper waters for second half yo land bigger fish.

Super crowded with hundreds of boats in the water fishing in the same spot and still everyone was catching fish. I have not been in any other place with such a rich fish abundance.

Recommend bringing 40 us for Bait fish. Also know to bring $100 Us for tip money if on 5hr trip it’s $500 for boat and captain but $100 for His deck hand. Which is 20% total boat $100 for $500 boat. Worth every penny if you catch like we did!!

El Torito Sportfishing
This is the best charter I have wver booked in Cabo. I have cone down for 10 years and these guys by far go above and beyond. Not only do you catch fish but the have the utmost respect for the ocean and its creatures. This pelican in the picture was saved and just resting on the swim step until she could move on.
