Fishing for big fish requires an 8-10 hr trip. smaller fish, but still fun and maybe not as rough. Fishingbooker reviews are important, as is great communication leading up to the trip.

This is a great experience. It is an open boat with no cabin. There was a place to lay down and boat was covered. Bring food to snack on.

This was my first deep sea fishing trip, I fish alot in the states for Steelhead and Salmon, so I expect to not land fish every time i go out. Not the case here! This guide servce was great, freindly and ensured we had a good time.
I woukd say, book, sit back snd relax and enjoy a day with professionals who will do their part to get yoy on fish.

Offshore waters can be fairly rough. We happen to be out on a windy day so it was a little more than normal, but the boat is very capable of the waves.

Yes, captain and deck hand were experienced and they knew where to go on the bay and how to fish for what we were interested in catching. You do not need to be an experienced fisherman to enjoy a trip in Banderas Bay.

Not Mahi Mahi season so we were left to chase smaller fish but were very happy with the results. You’d need at least an 8-10 hour tour if you want sailfish or marlin.

Enjoy the experience. It’s a special place. We’ve seen whales, sea turtles and dolphins. You never know what the conditions will be. It could be very good fishing or not. But it’s always a good trip.
