Make sure you dress in layers, especially if your starting at 5 a.m. It might not seem that cold when you walk out your front door, but it is much cooler along the river. I was glad I took gloves, just wished I would have worn some Under Armour to keep my legs warmer.

I would recommend going out later in the month of June. Water conditions were that of late May on the river, likely due to the late snowmelt.

It was chilly and overcast. Definitely dress warm. The boat I was on wasn't real wide so it will wobble. Just sit back, pay attention and have fun!
