Hot bite and happy crew! Summer fishing on South Padre Island was in full swing as I took Sharon and their crew out for a 3 Hour (AM) Bay Fishing Trip with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures. Had a crew of four join us for a winter morning trip starting in the early hours. Cloudy skies hung over us throughout the day with rain coming down, but that didn't stop us from getting out on the water. The conditions were what you'd expect for January - a bit rough but nothing we couldn't handle with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures. We focused on drift fishing and bottom fishing techniques, with some trolling mixed in to cover more water. The crew managed to land some solid Black Drum and Speckled Trout during our half-day outing.
