One for the books today! Summer fishing on South Padre Island, TX brought clear conditions and a great day on the water. I took Todd and their crew out for our 5 Hour (AM) Bay Fishing Trip with Today We Fish Charter and Adventures. We hit the water early, launching just as the sun was coming up over the horizon. With our gear rigged and ready, we set out to explore the diverse fishing opportunities South Padre Island has to offer. We mixed it up, trying our hand at surf fishing along the coast, then moving into the bay for some inshore action. As the day progressed, we even ventured offshore for some trolling. The variety of techniques kept things interesting, and it was a perfect showcase of what makes fishing in this area so special. While we didn't land any monsters this time, we did manage to hook into some Spotted Trout, which put up a good fight and gave everyone a taste of the action.
