A Colorful Day Offshore

A sargo-veado (Diplodus cervinus) was landed during a recent trip aboard Áqua off the Algarve coast, with the client very satisfied with the experience.

Today we had a taste of the tropics out at sea! The group landed one big mahi-mahi and three smaller ones, all bursting with vibrant colors and energy. We also had a white marlin come in, but it was not very aggressive and didn’t commit to the bite. A great day with wonderful company, sunshine, and exciting moments on the water!

Today, July 18th, we set out on a fishing adventure with Paul and Stuart aboard Áqua. Just 20 minutes into trolling, we hooked an incredible bluefin tuna — a true powerhouse of the ocean. Stuart took the rod and delivered a solid, skillful fight. The battle was intense, showcasing both the strength of the fish and the determination of the angler. After a thrilling struggle and once the tuna had been brought alongside the boat, we carefully unhooked it and released it back into the sea in perfect condition qstrong, healthy, and ready to swim free again. Another unforgettable moment aboard Áqua. The ocean gave us a challenge and we answered with respect and passion.
