The coho salmon fishery is starting to get going for us. While they are still summer size, they seem be be a little bigger than normal this year this early. Looking forward to some days of fast action in this fishery. It can be hard to keep more than 3 rods in the water when the bite gets hot! This is a good introductory fishery for kids just getting started in salmon fishing because there's usually pretty good action.

The spring lingcod bite remains HOT! Good quality fish and lots of action. Been consistently bringing home limits of nice lingcod and good grade rockfish when we can get out. Fish have been biting herring, jigs, live kelpies, everything. Lots of fun for adults and kids alike. Get out here while its hot!

Left the dock shortly after first light on an outgoing current. It was a little bumpy going over the bar but once clear of the ebb slop the ocean was beautiful! Turned into a spectacular spring day off the oregon coast. We had steady action on good grade rockfish from the beginning of the first drift. The lingcod bite is excellent too. Limits of lingcod and rockfish for the boat and back to the dock well befofe lunch. We got lingcod on flukes, gribs, herring, shrimpflies…whatever we threw at them, they ate it today! Great crew work, good storytelling and an excellent vibe all around! What a day on the ocean
