The mangrove snapper bite has been on fire. The cold weather is pushing them a little further the past couple of weeks but I would say it's a better than average bite.
Knocker rigs with half a cigar minnow seems to do the trick better than squid. 20 pound mono leader with #2 circle hook, get your grill ready.
