The forecast today was thunderstorms, cloudy conditions, high winds, which would all tend to put the chill in most fisherman however, this family of three met the challenge with flying colors. We had a great time starting out in the intercoastal waterway, looking for savory black drum and sheep‘s head, but we ended up catching a few speckled trout. Our search continued most of the day for the elusive striped fish to no avail this time, but with plenty of smiles and lots of small fish, they decided they would return for another fishing adventure on the middle of Texas coast in the near future.
