When the sea decides to make up for the wait, it does it in a big way. Fishing is the only trade where eight hours of silence can be transformed into a morning of absolute glory. Yesterday, the "Panzonas" (tunas) gave us a lesson in indifference; we went through three different spots and tried the whole arsenal: live bait, lures, deceivers and popers. Not a single boat from the flotilla managed to decipher the code. The ocean simply kept silent. But God's mercy is infinite and today the script has completely changed. What yesterday was resistance, today was abundance. The action was so great that, for the first time in a long time, we had to return earlier than expected because our bait ran out! Today's scoreboard is to frame: a Barred Snapper, a Spanish Mackerel that is already savored on the table, an incredible amount of Needlefish that kept the reels warm, and the finishing touch: a heavyweight Roosterfish, a coastal beauty that reminded us why we never put our arms down. We worked the *Poppers*, sparking the curiosity of a couple of red snappers and Spanish Mackerel that wanted to play but wouldn't sign the contract. However, at sea, patience is the currency that buys glory. While our primary target stayed hidden, he appeared: a majestic Roosterfish. For these anglers, this was the chapter they had been waiting to write their whole lives. It wasn't luck; it was being in the right place under Captain Jorge’s guidance. After a technical battle, we landed the prize, captured the memories, and performed a flawless release.
