With school out for the summer the waterways have been busy. Get in on the action trout have been consistsnt on croaker, however the redfish have been elusive in this heat.

Its that time of the year trout catching in full swing. Using live croaker working grasslines and edges.

Fish move around our bay system so frequently I often venture out and try some of my Other spots when not on chartered trips. With the tide so low, my bay boat has its limitations but i was determined to walk up on some tailing reds in the skinny water. So off I went with my waterloo and Saltwater assanan morning glory shad with a 1/8oz jig head. Sight casting tailing reds is awesome, however not easy, throwing into the wind in clear water the fish were skiddish. All in all great day, oh and the Trout are moving in already!
