Got a few 5 hour charters done over the past couple days. These groups were fishin' 'til their arms fell off! OK, not literally, but they were physically worn out by the end of the trip. And plenty of meat for the frying pan.

If you've checked our weather here, you've seen that it's been pretty bad. Days of high winds resulting in rough seas, thunderstorms, and a little flooding. We've had to cancel alot of trips, but the ones we managed to get done weren't too shabby! Our nearshore trips have been catching Black Drum, Shark, Jack Crevalle, Catfish, and limiting on Bull Reds. If you've never caught a Jack Crevalle, you're missing out on a great fight. While they aren't any good to eat, they fight hard, making them a fun challenge to fight and catch! And if a Shark is on your bucket list, we've got plenty of 'em. Although we're still anxiously anticipating Kings, we haven't seen any yet. But we'll keep trying 'til we get 'em!

Were approaching the time ofnyear when offshore fishing starts heating up! Our target species this time of year is usually Red Drum (Bull Red), Blacktip Shark, and King Mackerel. These past couple of days, we got limits of Red Drum, and also caught and released Black Drum. Our clients hooked up with Blacktip Sharks, Spinner Sharks, and Bonnethead Sharks. A nice Jack Crevalle took the bait along with some Cownose Rays that were released. And of course, the Catfish that are set on being made into tacos!
