10/16/24 we received our 1st cold front of the year. It brought high winds and temps dropped around 15 degrees. The high winds pushed alot of water into the area causing concentrated fish to scatter across the flats. Although the fish have been feeding, they are a little tougher to **hidden content** guides have been cutting in lots of extra work to locate these fish and get customers a decent box to bring home. Lately popping corks and live shrimp have been the way to go.

As the water heats up, so will the fishing! Come on lets get those rods bent!

With water levels down and low winds, the fish were spread out. Each spot we visited we mangaed to pick up a few keepers so it didn't take long to realize not to stay in a spot too long. Managed to grind out a decent box of fish in 4 feet of water adjacent to deeper drop offs.
