Trip Summary

Strong pre-frontal winds kept us off the main river channel yesterday, but we caught some fish in the more protected creek channels. The total for a 5-hour charter was 2 crappie, 5 bass, 2 sunfish, and over 25 white and yellow bass. Most were caught on crankbaits but a few were caught tightlining jigs tipped with live crappie minnows.

A beautiful day on Lake Chickamauga yielded a variety of species, including some nice 13-14 inch crappie. All fish were trolled using jigs and crankbaits trolled at 12-16 foot depths over submerged creek flats in 18-20 FOW.
