As the weather starts turning cooler, the fishing has only been getting better by the day! We have been staying in the saltmarsh chasing redfish and speckled with a few blackdrum and sheepshead mixed in! It has not been uncommon to hit the 50 fish mark on recent trips!

The redfish have been feeding hard as the water has dropped out of the flats. Large schools of fish are chasing shrimp through shallow creeks making them easy targets for a live shrimp on popping corks.

We left the dock at 7:30 with a livewell full of mullet and shrimp in search of speckled trout and redfish. We were able to pull 6 keepers from our first spot as the tide dropped out. As the tide started coming back in, we added some nice size black drum and some big inshore reds.
