We had success drifting in the morning with some live baits out covering all depths of the water column. Not having the conditions I like to see as the current started to slack off i decided we were going to slow troll some live baits to make our own current and cover some ground. As we were reeling the last bait in boom a giant sailfish decides to eat our herring after a 45 minute fight that the whole family took part in we landed a 7 foot 90-100 pound sailfish. One of the bigger sailfish I have caught in a while!
