With weeds surfacing we have to adept and use shallow running baits to keep fishing effectively. And that works brilliantly! Especially the ridges of large plant beds produced great action. The cool thing about this way of fishing for pike is that you see the fish smashing the surface as soon as she hits the bait. Super exciting!
