Today we went after fat pre-spawning pike on the big lake, just 20 km from Amsterdam. We focussed on large shoals of baifish and searched for big signals of big predatory fish around it. The Garmin LiveScope is just priceless for this job and soon enough we found what we were looking for. Both casting and trolling proved to be successful, with two outstanding fish weighing probably over 25 lb each as a silver lining. Could not have asked for more.
