On a bright and sunny day at the Knik River, our charter group enjoyed outstanding fishing conditions. The clear skies and mild temperatures set the stage for a memorable outing, with the fish biting actively throughout the day. The day's highlights included plentiful salmon and trout, both present in impressive numbers. Overall, our Knik River charter delivered an exceptional fishing experience under the sun—a day filled with action, camaraderie, and unforgettable catches for all participants.

Captain Doug led a group fishing trip on Alaska’s Knik River, where the scenery was beautiful and everyone was excited. They focused on fishing for silver salmon, and with Captain Doug’s helpful tips, the group enjoyed catching these lively fish, making it a memorable day for everyone.

Both kids and adults caught plenty of lively fish, most weighing 6 to 10 pounds, especially using live bait and bright spinners just after sunrise. The river conditions were excellent—clear water, steady levels, and a light breeze—making for a perfect day. Captain Ray expects the good fishing to continue, encouraging everyone to come out and experience this exciting salmon run.
