Trip Summary

Catfish bite continues to be strong with 23 Catfish caught and released this morning. We also caught several nice crappie and several nice Spotted bass after we finished up the cat-fishing portion of our trip.

Awesome split trip on Lake Wylie - caught a 2 Man limit of crappie and changed over to Cat fishing where we put 100 lbs of Catfish in the boat in a 6 hour trip. All the cats were released to fight again another day.

Best Cat fishing trip of 2026 - we caught and released over 250 lbs of Lake Wylie Catfish including a 26 lb Flathead. All total we boated 25 Cat fish (23 Blues, 1 Channel and 1 Flathead).
