Its now mid June and the temperature outside is blazing hot in the middle of the day. To beat the heat I have been running most trips early at 630am. We were greeted with light winds and an outgoing tide with a low at 730am. The first few spots we checked were along the river and we struggled to find feeding fish but soon were able to get a nice redfish to the boat. The flounder fishing we did led to us catching seven fish but managed to only find one keeper out of the bunch. As the tide came back in the flounder began to bite better but our time ran out as it began to really flow in.
