Arrived with fly gear and then after a quick talk Nano started netting sardines and we were off to the flats with spinning gear. Nano was fun to hang out with and great at spotting fish. Small fun boat.
Captain Nano was very knowledgeable of the areas we fished.ย Conditions were mixed for visibility.ย Opportunities for permit were few as were tarpon.ย We caught a few bonefish and did have a good time.ย Beautiful area.ย I would book Nano again. He worked very hard for us.
I was disappointed in the number of tarpon we encountered in two full days. I can understand if they donโt want to bite but we only saw 20-25 fish in two days.
