Dispite all the rain we had a great time. Caught fish, saw some whales and learned alot. Captian was very knowledgeable and worked hard at making it a memorable trip.

I had a blast fishing with Matt! We started out with a 4 hook setup to catch baitfish to use on our bottom fishing. Matt knowledge of the area and showing us how to set up the reels to fish ourselves was awesome! We were able to get a few good bites and land 2 good sized uku along with some other smaller fish. All and all a great trip!

My dad, my son, and I had a fantastic time with Hawaii Whale Tale Tours. Matt was super responsive leading up to our trip, making sure we booked the best experience for our group, and we had a blast catching mahi mahi, uku, trevally, and much more. Whenever we make it back to the island, we’ll be checking out another tour with Captain Matt.

Our fishing trip with Matt was great, hes super knowledgeable about the fish we caught! and just a great guy and captain, we will definitely be booking with him again for fishing, and for whale tours..If your looking for a fishing trip we would highly recommend! Captain Matt was great. Ocean conditions were not great for fishing but we still caught a couple Mahi-Mahi. Would definitely recommend for a small group!!
