I went out on a morning fishing trip with James and wow! it did not disappoint! James was quick to assess what sort of fishing I wanted to do and set to work quick! We were out quickly to the first spot to see what was going on, after a short while there was nothing so James was keen to move and that was a perfect decision. Awesome day fishing with captain James. We headed out early at 6am because he said it would be better for striped bass and boy was it. We started in one spot and they weren’t hitting so we quickly moved and then found a spot where they were on fire! All keepers! We even caught some large cats. We are so glad we booked our first Lake Conroe fishing trip with Captain James and Fish Head Water Sports! Our Captain had extensive knowledge of the lake and knew how to find great pockets of fish. I have been fishing before, but my wife was new to this.  Captain James had her pulling them up in no time.  She had a blast and now wants to fish more so big bonus.  We ended the day with 45 so it was quite the catch.  (Although my wife caught another catfish and a bluegill with her new hobby... My wife and I went out for a 5 hour trip. We left the dock at 6 am to start our fishing trip for hybrids. We caught 2 hybrids that were keepers and caught some more hybrids that unfortunately werent keepers. The bite slowed down a little where we were but fortunately the captain knew other spots to go fishing. The next fish on our list to catch was catfish. We were here visiting a family member and decided on a fishing trip. It was a cold windy day, wasn’t the best day for fishing but James worked hard to find us some fish. Great day and a fun time!
